CHEKAY OJT JOURNEY - FEBRUARY

                                                      4th Week  (February 02-06, 2026)
“Turning knowledge into experience: My February OJT Journey.”

On February 2, 2026, my week 4 On-the-Job Training (OJT) Experience, Ma’am Ai instructed me to write down the names of more than 400 students who had received their checks under the trust receipt. I carefully listed all the names to ensure that the records were accurate and complete. This task required patience and attention to detail because I needed to make sure that every student who received a check was properly documented.
The following day, Ma’am Ai assigned me another task. She instructed me to cut out the necessary portions of the documents and attach them properly. After cutting the required parts, I stapled the documents together to keep them organized and secure. Once I completed this, I proceeded to have the documents signed to ensure that they were properly authorized and validated.
Afterward, Ma’am Ai instructed me to sort and arrange the documents and receipts for January 2026. I carefully sorted them according to their proper categories and organized them systematically to prepare them for submission to COA. This task was important because the documents needed to be complete, orderly, and properly arranged before submission.
Lastly, I had the documents signed by the faculty members to finalize the process and ensure that all necessary approvals were secured.

                            5th Week (February 09,10,12,23, 2026)
“The best part of OJT is realizing that every effort today builds the career of tomorrow.”

During the 5th week of my On-the-Job Training, I was given important responsibilities that helped me improve my communication skills and attention to detail.
On February 9–10, 2026, Ma’am Joysa instructed me to distribute documents to the faculty members and assist in securing their signatures. This task required me to approach each faculty member respectfully and ensure that all necessary documents were properly signed. Through this activity, I learned the importance of professionalism, patience, and proper coordination within the office. I also became more confident in communicating with different staff members and handling official documents carefully.
On February 12–13, 2026, Ma’am Ai and I reviewed the CHED billing. Our task was to carefully check if there were any errors or discrepancies in the records. We examined the details thoroughly to make sure that all information was accurate and complete. This experience enhanced my attention to detail and taught me the importance of accuracy in financial and administrative documents. I realized how crucial it is to double-check records to avoid future problems or delays.
Overall, Week 5 was productive and meaningful because I was able to actively participate in office tasks that contributed to the smooth flow of operations. Each responsibility given to me helped me develop new skills and gain practical knowledge that will be useful in my future career.

                        6th Week (February 16,18,19,20, 2026)
“Every task during my OJT is an opportunity to learn something new and improve my skills.”

During the sixth week of my On-the-Job Training, I was given several responsibilities that helped me develop my skills in office work and documentation.
On February 16, 2026, I was assigned to record the Disbursement Voucher (DV) numbers. This task required accuracy and attention to detail because the DV numbers are important for proper documentation and tracking of financial transactions. Through this activity, I learned how essential it is to ensure that records are organized and correctly entered to avoid errors in the future.

From February 18 to 20, 2026, we attended the Mass for Ash Wednesday as part of the institution’s religious activities. It was a meaningful experience because it allowed us to reflect and participate in a significant spiritual event. In the afternoon, we also watched the Search for King and Queen of Hearts. The event was enjoyable and allowed us to observe how school activities are organized and conducted. It was inspiring to see the effort and preparation behind such programs.

Aside from attending events, I was also assigned office-related tasks. I photocopied several checks and carefully cut them for proper arrangement and filing. This task may seem simple, but it requires patience and organization to ensure that all documents are complete and properly arranged.
The following day, I was given the responsibility of going around to different faculty members for the petty cash inspection. This task helped me improve my communication skills because I needed to approach faculty members respectfully and professionally. It also allowed me to understand how petty cash is monitored and accounted for within the office.
Throughout the week, I continued photocopying checks and cutting them for proper arrangement. Repeating these tasks helped me become more efficient and confident in handling documents. Overall, Week 6 was a productive and meaningful experience that enhanced my organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism in the workplace.

                                                                                                                              7th Week (February 23-27, 2026)
“Every challenge is a chance to grow: My Last Week OJT Journey.”

During the last week of my On-the-Job Training (OJT) in February 2026, I was given several important tasks by Ma’am Ai that allowed me to apply the skills and knowledge I had developed throughout my training. One of my primary responsibilities was to visit different offices to collect voluntary contributions intended for Sir Clarence Acelar's medication. This task required me to communicate respectfully and professionally with faculty and staff members while explaining the purpose of the contribution. It also helped me improve my confidence and interpersonal skills as I interacted with various personnel in the institution.
Aside from collecting contributions, I was assigned clerical and administrative duties. I pinned updated charts on the bulletin board to ensure that important information was properly displayed and organized. I also stamped receipts as part of the documentation process, making sure that all records were properly validated and accounted for.

I also photocopied checks and other necessary documents, ensuring that all copies were clear and accurate. In addition, I cut and arranged documents systematically to maintain proper filing and organization within the office.
On my last day of OJT, I made sure to fulfill my responsibilities efficiently and responsibly. My last week of OJT was both productive and meaningful, as it allowed me to gain hands-on experience in office administration, documentation, and professional communication.

My OJT experience for the month of February 2026 was both enriching and challenging. It allowed me to gain valuable skills in document management, record-keeping, coordination with faculty and staff, and understanding office procedures. These experiences enhanced my professional confidence and prepared me for future administrative roles.
