                                                                           1st Week (January 12-16, 2026)

"From Classroom to Workplace: My January OJT Journey"

On January 12, 2026, our On-the-Job Training (OJT) officially started. We were assigned to our respective offices by Ma’am Melanie Juanola. I was initially assigned to the Education Office. On that day, Sir Sison instructed me to set up a computer for my use. However, during the afternoon of the same day, Prof. Melanie C. Juanola, our OJT Coordinator went to the Education Office and had a discussion with the Chairman of the Education Department together with the faculty. After their conversation, it was decided that I would be pulled out from the Education Office and reassigned to the Cashier and Disbursing Office.

As a result, on January 13, 2026, I officially started my duty at the Cashier and Disbursing Office.
During my first week of OJT, I was given several tasks and responsibilities. One of my main tasks was to segregate the TES payroll, ensuring that the documents were properly organized and arranged according to the required categories.

In addition, Ma’am Aileen instructed me to go around the expenses of one of the teachers. I carefully recorded and handled the collected contributions to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
Furthermore, I was tasked with segregating and organizing receipts related to death aid and PTA contributions. These activities helped me develop my organizational skills, attention to detail, and understanding of office procedures, particularly in financial and administrative work. Overall, my first week of OJT at the Cashier’s Office allowed me to gain valuable experience and practical knowledge in handling office transactions and responsibilities.

"Gaining Confidence and Skills: My Week 2 OJT Experience "

During my second week of On-the-Job Training (OJT), I continued performing tasks related to office and financial operations. I was assigned to segregate and organize receipts to ensure that all documents were properly arranged and accounted for. This task required accuracy and attention to detail, especially in handling official records.

I was also instructed by Ma’am Ai to count the cash collected. I carefully verified the amounts to make sure that the total cash matched the recorded transactions, which helped me improve my skills in handling and managing financial data.

In addition, I was tasked with encoding PTA payments into Microsoft Excel. I entered the necessary details such as names, amounts, and payment information to ensure that all records were accurate and well-organized. This task allowed me to enhance my computer skills, particularly in using Excel for data encoding and record management. Overall, my second week of OJT helped me gain more experience in financial documentation, accuracy, and office responsibilities.

On January 26–27, 2026, we were assigned to hold placards during the parade in preparation for the upcoming town fiesta of Lemery. This activity allowed us to participate in community events and assist in maintaining order and proper representation during the parade.
Aside from this, we were also tasked with arranging and organizing documents intended for the judges of the tribe competition. We ensured that all necessary papers were properly sorted, complete, and ready for distribution to the judges.

On January 30, 2026, I was instructed by Ma’am Ai to photocopy several receipts. This task required careful handling of documents to ensure that all copies were clear, complete, and properly organized for office records and documentation purposes. On the same day, Ma’am Joysa assigned me the task of going to the faculty office's to have documents signed and approved.

Throughout the month of January, I gained valuable hands-on experience, developed professional work habits, and improved my skills by performing assigned tasks under proper supervision during my on-the-job training.
